 Steve Stanfield is a Southern Califonia native who began his Insurance career in 1992 with Federated Mutual Insurance Company where he worked as a direct marketing representative on the company side for 8 years. With the knowledge provided by Federated, he made the transition to the Brokerage side, and worked for Sullivan Curtis Monroe for 8 years, and Millennium Corporate Solutions for 2 years where he has demonstrated his expertise in the Hospitality, Construction, and Auto Dealer Industries.
As President of Westlake Risk & Insurance Services, Steve will use his expertise to provide advantages for his niches through program development and strategies to better serve our clients. |

 Neil Churchill was introduced to the insurance industry in April of 1999. After graduating from the University of Redlands, he was hired and enrolled into Federated Mutual Insurance’s Marketing Development Training program. This extensive 7 month industry and product training program was focused on Property & Casualty and Life Insurance. After 7 years of direct writing with Federated Insurance, Neil engaged the broker world at Millennium Corporate Solutions specializing in Hospitality, Construction, Building Materials, Auto Dealers and General insurance.
Simultaneously, Neil started a Life Insurance wholesale company of which specializes in assisting independent agents and broker’s in life insurance transactions such as but not limited to premium finance, 1035 exchange and business insurance transactions. This company represents over 20 Life Insurance carriers in the financial industry.
As CEO of Westlake Risk & Insurance Services, Inc., Neil brings expertise in many facets of the insurance industry which will enable Westlake Risk to better serve the clients with whom we partner. |

 As President of the Employee Benefits Division, Peter Winter, CLU brings over 35 years of experience to Westlake Risk & Insurance Services. Peter has a very technical background with his Bachelors from Cal Poly and his Masters from Cal tech in Pasadena. He is also a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and a student of the business. Peter has taught SHRM employee benefits courses through UCSB extension.
Peter has been on both the carrier side and the agency side of the business. His past experience includes careers with Aetna, Sedgwick and USI where he built their employee benefits practice from the ground up to a vibrant consulting group. He has returned to his roots in Ventura County where he has lived for the past 33 years.
